BROWN, Diane Elaine

Diane passed away peacefully at Eden Valley Hospice, Carlisle on Sunday 29th August 2021, aged 76 years.  Adored wife of John and a friend to so many, in Cumbria and around the world.  Many will remember Diane from her years with the Chemical Industries Association and/or from her even longer involvement in the governance of the Society of Chemical Industry.

Funeral service to be held at the Church of St Kentigern, Castle Sowerby, Penrith, Cumbria CA11 0XU on Wednesday, 15th September at 2pm followed by interment there.  Flowers only from John at Diane’s specific request.  Donations would be very welcome to Eden Valley Hospice, either directly or through Jill Glencross Independent Funeral Directors to whom all enquiries should be directed (16 The Square, Dalston, Carlisle, Cumbria CA5 7PY,  Telephone: 01228 317373).
